Who I am

This website belongs to Bharat Parmar, an individual based in Leicestershire, UK. I am the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach me through the contact form.

What this website collects

The website sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers or outside analytics services. If you use the contact form, I receive the name, email address, organisation and message you enter.

To see how many people visit, the server notes which page was opened, the day and the website you came from. It does not keep your IP address. Instead it makes a code from it that changes every day and cannot be turned back into your address. I keep these notes for 90 days and only ever look at weekly totals.

Why I use it

I use your details only to read and reply to your message, and to keep a record of our conversation. The lawful basis is legitimate interests, in answering an enquiry you chose to send. I never sell your details or use them for marketing lists.

How long I keep it

I keep form messages for up to 12 months after our last contact, then delete them. If we go on to work together, I keep what the law requires for business records.

Google account data

I also run a private tool on this domain, used only by me, that reads my own Gmail and writes draft replies for me to check and send myself. It never sends email and is not open to anyone else. It stores nothing from anyone else's Google account. Its use of Google data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details I hold about you, or object to how I use them. Send your request through the contact form and I will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with my answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
